It is mandatory for all guests to wear face masks in the foyer and reception areas. Masks are not required in the restaurant, bar, gym, studio or spa treatment areas.
Welcoming your back to Bicester Performance Gym
We look forward to welcoming you to Bicester Performance Gym. Whilst some of you may be eager to get out and about, we appreciate that many of you will be nervous about returning to this “new normal”. We want to reassure you that the team have been working extremely hard to implement changes to ensure your stay with us is safe, but also enjoyable.
We are keeping up to date with the guidance from Public Health England and the Government and we will regularly update this page with the latest information so you can be confident about your upcoming stay with us.

What we’re doing to keep you safe
Spa & Health Club
SPA
Treatment choice may vary to adhere to government guidelines. Extra time will be allocated between treatment times to allow for our treatment rooms to be sanitised between each guest. Soft furnishing items will be removed from the aps and treatment rooms.
HEALTH CLUB
Gym equipment has been re-arranged or some machines may not be in use to ensure social distancing is maintained. Fitness classes will take place outdoors where possible and with reduced numbers. Limited numbers will be allowed in the gym, pool and wellness areas and some facilities may not be available for use.
Children under 16 will only be permitted to use the pool between 8 am-10 am and 4 pm and 6 pm and must pre-book a 30 minute slot in advance with the Spa reception, numbers for these swim times are very limited and will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Steam Rooms will be closed until stage 3 (17th May at the earliest).
The outdoor hot tub remains closed until further notice.
Disinfectant products will be available throughout the health club and we ask that equipment is cleaned and disinfected before and after each use. Members to arrive “gym/swim-ready” where possible.
Bars & Restaurants
*During stage 2 of the re-opening plans only outdoor areas will be open, table service only, please do not enter the bar area*
In our Bar and Restaurant areas; our table allocations ensure guests are physically distanced from one another. Please do not move the tables or chairs from their positions.
We have heightened our already stringent practices around food handling, sanitisation, disinfection and cleaning in our kitchens.
Table service only in all our restaurant, bars and terraces, please do not approach the bar.
You may only socialise with members of your own household or support bubble inside and up to a maximum of 6 people outside. Outlet opening hours may be altered to accommodate all diners. Table service only – there may be reduced menus in place.
Increased frequency of cleaning is in place of tables, cutlery, crockery and glassware after each guest use.
Payment machines will be brought to you, contactless payment would be preferred.
How you can help during your visit
If you display symptoms
Please do not come to the resort if you or a member of your household have displayed any of the following symptoms within the last 14 days: a cough, fever, breathlessness, sore throat, headaches, loss of taste or smell – unless they are symptoms of a pre-existing medical condition. Instead, please call our reservations team at your earliest convenience to reschedule your visit. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse entry or cancel your reservation should you display any symptoms on arrival.
Social distancing
Please adhere to social distancing throughout the resort, use the markers and guides to help you. Please follow one way systems and use the correct entry and exit doors that are marked.
Hygiene
We ask all guests to regularly wash their hands for 20 seconds. Please make us of our sanitiser stations throughout the resort – especially before dining.
Contactless Payments
Please use card payments and contactless where possible.
Finally, we request that you always remain considerate of our guests and staff. This is a new normal for all of us and we are working hard to ensure all our guests and staff feel comfortable and safe during their time with us. We ask you to keep in mind that many people will be nervous for some time, so even if you are feeling more relaxed, we ask you to respect the measures that are in place so Bicester Gym can be a place for all to enjoy.
